Business Leader of the Year Award

Six years ago, I was taken completely by surprise when I was named Business Leader of the Year in the Hartlepool Business Awards at the Borough Hall.
Twenty nine years after starting Krimo’s with the legendary £250 and bucketfuls of enthusiasm, Karen and I were delighted to be presented with the award.

Five years earlier, in 2009, our company, Cream Restaurants Limited had also won the first Tourism Business of the Year.

I really believe that simply entering competitions serves to motivate business and staff morale.
Winning awards will not only lead to staff cohesion, a renewed energy but also a great opportunity for marketing and business exposure and growth.

But just when I thought that I’d achieved everything there was to achieve in my life, the following morning I got to judge my favourite and one of the most addictive competitions, The Headline Challenge on Radio Tees!
