My herb garden

Although quite a bit of a bane, this lockdown has been very useful in so many useless new ways. A few days, I took a photo of all the fresh herbs I have growing around the house.

In the garden, we have a huge rosemary bush and two bay trees on either side of the front door. I often stepped out of the door, picked a couple of bay leaves for my bolognese.

In pots, around the house and garden, I have a couple pots of mint, an Algerian variety and a peppermint. A pot of fragrant sage and delicious thyme. On the windowsill, I keep parsley, basil and coriander. Just the ordinary supermarket type.

I also keep a few bags filled with coriander, parsley and tarragon in my freezer for emergencies. All are very useful for my cooking.
